The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has scheduled a three-match T20 home series against the South Africa women's cricket team, set to take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium on September 16, 18, and 20.
This series will help both teams gain crucial match practice ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in the UAE next month.
According to a senior PCB official, all three matches will be broadcast live, with the South African team arriving in Pakistan on September 13 and departing for the UAE on September 21. The Pakistan team will follow on September 23.
Pakistan is placed in Group A for the World Cup, alongside Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, while South Africa is in Group B with Bangladesh, England, Scotland, and the West Indies.
Following warm-up matches against Scotland on September 28 and Bangladesh on September 30, Pakistan will open their World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on October 3 in Sharjah.
PAK team will face India on October 6, Australia on October 11, and New Zealand on October 14 in Dubai.
