Even leaders who are in the news for their harsh speeches and name-calling say such behaviour is uncalled for when they find themselves at the receiving end of such language. 

While the Congress is contesting on nine seats, its INDIA bloc ally AAP has fielded its candidate from the Kurukshetra constituency.

Badal on Wednesday expelled Kahlon from the primary membership of the SAD for "anti-party" activities and "backstabbing" the party.

"How can a person who wears a 'chola' and partakes 'Amrit' one year back represent the 'panth' and not a 103-year-old party which has a consistent track record of safeguarding 'panthic' values," said Badal.

"Generally after a trust vote has been won, a floor test is not needed within six months. However, if the governor sahib gives such a direction, then we will prove (our majority)," Pal said.

Virendra Sachdeva, president of Delhi BJP, questioned the silence of Kejriwal over the alleged incident and demanded action against those guilty.

At the campaign launch, AAP Delhi state convener Gopal Rai said the BJP is claiming that they are fighting the elections against corruption.  "But we will tell people about the truth of these claims," he said.
