Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, on Sunday, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of seeking votes in the name of Lord Ram while skipping to mention issues such as development, inflation, or job creation.
Speaking to the media, Raut said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was lagging after the first two rounds of the Lok Sabha election.
The third phase of the election will take place on May 7. Prime Minister Modi is set to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Sunday and organise a roadshow.
“Modi will visit Dwarka, Mathura, and Ayodhya. He’ll visit every temple but won’t discuss progress, inflation, or employment.
Additionally, he will not discuss why the (2019) Pulwama attack occurred,” the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said.
He also criticised the prime minister for the terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir, in which a soldier was killed and four others injured when militants ambushed an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch area.
Raut added that Modi owes answers to the nation for yesterday’s broad daylight attack on IAF.
Furthermore, Shiv Sena UBT Leader said that PM Modi will not answer how and why these soldiers are being killed in terror ambushes.
The terrorists attacked IAF vehicles, killing one soldier and injuring four others, one of whom is struggling for his life.
He will not discuss this in Ayodhya. “He will only seek votes in the name of Lord Ram,” Raut added.
