Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav hinted at impending political upheaval in Bihar following the Lok Sabha election results, citing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's strained relationship with ally BJP.
Yadav, who lost his Deputy CM position due to Kumar's abrupt return to the NDA, made the assertion during a press interaction.
"Ever since I made the prediction that chacha (uncle) will take a big decision after Lok Sabha polls, he has not been going out to campaign", pointed out Yadav, referring to a claim he had made a couple of days ago.
"I have also learnt that it is the Governor who is holding meetings with officials and issuing instructions. On the election front, the BJP and the JD(U) are concentrating on their respective seats, with no synergy", alleged the RJD leader.
"These developments confirm my suspicion that Bihar is bracing for significant changes post-June 4," remarked Yadav, refraining from direct attacks on Kumar since his exit from the 'Mahagathbandhan'.
Throughout the elections, Yadav tactically navigated the NDA's internal strife, claiming Kumar's tacit support despite their alliance's dissolution.
Campaigning vigorously despite physical challenges, Yadav expressed confidence in the 'INDIA bloc's' impending victory, foreseeing a defeat for Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to economic hardships.
Regarding Modi's meditation session in Kanyakumari, Yadav criticised the move as a publicity stunt, cautioning against media involvement hindering the meditation process.
"He might be going to market himself, to get himself photographed. Be that as it may, he must not take the media along for self-publicity. He may meditate to his heart's content but must not take along hindrances (baadha)," Yadav said.
