Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed a gathering at SKICC in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, amidst a recent surge in violence in the Jammu region, saying that a positive transformation in Jammu and Kashmir has frustrated the "master of terror", but our government will not allow ill intentions of the enemy to succeed.
The Lieutenant Governor expressed his confidence in the bravery of the people of Jammu and the security forces, stating that they have always withstood terror. He praised the success of the security forces in eliminating top commanders in Kashmir and expressed optimism that they will soon achieve similar success in the Jammu region.
Sinha's remarks came amidst a spate of attacks in the Jammu region, which have raised concerns about the security situation. However, he remained resolute, emphasising the government's commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
"This transformation has especially frustrated the master of terror that our neighbour is, and they are trying to create terror in the Jammu region," he said, referring to the spate of attacks in the region.
The Lt Governor said, "We will not allow their ill intentions to succeed".
"The people of Jammu have always withstood terror, and I have full faith in the bravery of our jawans. The way the commanders of all the outfits were wiped out from here (Kashmir), our security forces and army will soon succeed in getting rid of them there (in Jammu region)," he said.
