Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh were denied permission to meet Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday due to security reasons as cited by the Tihar Jail authorities.
The chief minister and AAP leader were to meet Kejriwal in prison today at 1 pm.
The authorities further cited that the date and time for the new scheduled meeting would be shared with the AAP leaders soon.
Punjab CM previously sought permission to meet the party supremo from the jail authorities.
Meanwhile, as per the recent update on AAP supremo Kejriwal's case, the leader on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court challenging a high court order upholding his arrest in a money laundering case stemming from the alleged excise scam.
Kejriwal's counsel Vivek Jain informed that they have filed the petition in the apex court challenging the high court's order.
His plea is likely to be mentioned for urgent listing before a bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud on Wednesday.
