— Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and BJP president JP Nadda are set to address election rallies in different parts of Odisha on Sunday, highlighting the intense campaigning ahead of the upcoming polls.
Rahul Gandhi is slated to speak at an election rally in Salepur, located in the Cuttack district, at 1 pm local time. Additionally, he will visit Satyabhamapur to pay homage to 'Utkal Gourav' Madhusudan Das, according to Ajoy Kumar, AICC general secretary and the party's Odisha in-charge.
The rally is expected to draw attendees from four Lok Sabha constituencies, including Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jajpur, and Jagatsinghpur, Kumar stated.
Meanwhile, BJP's Nadda will land in Bhubaneswar around 4:30 pm and address a public meeting in the Ambapua area within the Gopalpur assembly segment at approximately 5:30 pm, as confirmed by BJP spokesperson Golak Nayak.
Nadda is also scheduled to engage in extensive interactions with party workers from the Berhampur, Koraput, and Nabarangpur Lok Sabha constituencies in Berhampur.
Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place by the police in anticipation of the arrival of the two national leaders in Bhubaneswar.
Both Gandhi and Nadda are expected to arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport and proceed to their respective destinations via helicopters.
