The principal of Gujarat's leading and popular Sainik School located in Balachhadi, Jamnagar has filed a complaint against a school teacher for sexually abusing two students. The Band Master was engaged in harassing the students by touching their privates for 4 days.
According to the nearby Jodiya Police Station, "39-year-old Pavan Dangi, who hails from Rajasthan's Jodhpur had been working with Balachhadi Sainik School as a Band Master". He allegedly molested two children and he repeatedly engaged in the act.
He threatened the children that if they told anyone he would resort to physical violence. The two children, currently 12 years old, were too scared to tell anybody about it in the school.
When the two children gathered the courage to speak about the physical abuse, they informed their parents and some staff members.
School Principal Shreyas Mehta lodged a police complaint with Jodiya Police Station in Jamnagar’s Jodiya town.
According to Jodiya Police, bandmaster Dangi has been detained by the police and an investigation is on. The accused is booked under IPC Section 504, 506 and Section 8 of the POCSO Act, 2012.
