Currently, Apple's vendors and suppliers provide jobs for approximately 150,000 individuals in the country.

opportunities for over 500,000 people through its vendors and components suppliers within the next three years. However, Apple declined to comment on this forecast when approached for confirmation.
The tech giant has outlined ambitious plans to amplify its production activities in India, aiming to increase its output by more than five times to approximately USD 40 billion within the next 4-5 years.
Market analysis conducted by Counterpoint Research reveals that Apple achieved a significant milestone in 2023 by leading the Indian market in revenue for the first time.
Meanwhile, Samsung retained its position as the top seller in terms of volume sales.

Moreover, data from the trade intelligence platform The Trade Vision indicates a substantial surge in Apple's iPhone exports from India, reaching USD 12.1 billion in the fiscal year 2023-24, up from USD 6.27 billion in the previous fiscal year, marking nearly a 100 per cent increase.
