At the core of the Ministry's mission is digital empowerment, aimed at realizing the vision of Smart Panchayats.
Ongoing training programs ensure the effective implementation of digital strategies, while partnerships with States/UTs engage citizens in governance processes.
The Ministry's digital initiatives play a pivotal role in strengthening self-reliance, sustainable livelihoods, inclusive development, and advancing Localization of Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) across Gram Panchayats nationwide.
This year's National Panchayati Raj Day holds special significance, marking three decades since the enactment of the Constitution (73rd Amendment) Act and two decades since the establishment of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
