 A significant disruption in Microsoft’s cloud services has led to widespread flight delays and cancellations for almost all major Indian carriers, including IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air.

This outage has affected the ability to book tickets and check in both online and at airports.

The glitch, part of a global outage, has caused severe operational issues at key Indian airports, particularly in Delhi and Mumbai, causing massive inconvenience to travelers.

In response, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has stated that it is in communication with Microsoft regarding the global outage.

"The reason for this outage has been identified and updates have been released to resolve the issue. CERT is issuing a technical advisory. NIC network is not affected," the Ministry added.
