Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on Friday, which is expected to feature over 100 new launches across automobiles, component products, and technologies.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, scheduled from 17-22 January, will bring together the entire value chain of the mobility ecosystem, including automobile manufacturers, component makers, electronics parts suppliers, tyre and energy storage producers, automotive software companies, and material recyclers, all under one umbrella.
With the theme "Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain", the expo aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the automotive and mobility sector, with a focus on sustainable and cutting-edge technological advancements. The event will be held across three venues: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi at Dwarka, Delhi, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida.
Notably, India’s flagship motor show, the biennial Auto Expo, which has now been combined with the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, will return to its original location, the former Pragati Maidan (now Bharat Mandapam), after more than a decade at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.
Supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the global expo is hosted by industry associations such as the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA), Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), Nasscom, Indian Steel Association, Material Recycling Association of India, and CII.
The event will feature 5,100 international participants and is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors from around the world.
In the automotive segment at Bharat Mandapam, electric vehicles are set to dominate, with market leader Maruti Suzuki unveiling its first electric vehicle, the SUV e-VITARA, and rival Hyundai Motor India Ltd launching the Crtea EV on the opening day.
In the luxury segment, German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz will introduce its electric EQS Maybach SUV, alongside the electric concept CLA and the G Electric SUV. Similarly, compatriot BMW will showcase the all-electric BMW i7 and launch the all-new BMW X3, among other models.
More than 40 new product launches are anticipated at the automotive segment of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
At the components show, taking place from 18-21 January 2025 at Yashobhoomi, over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries will participate, including five country pavilions from Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, and the UK, with additional exhibitors from the USA, Israel, and Thailand.
More than 60 new products and technologies are expected to be launched at the components show.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will also feature the inaugural Bharat Construction Equipment Expo (Bharat CE Expo) 2025 from 19-22 January at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, with extensive participation from the construction equipment industry, including component manufacturers, suppliers, financiers, technology solution providers, and more.
