The Capital City of Jharkhand, Ranchi, today reverberated with the slogans of ‘Abki Baar 400 paar and Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar’ as people welcomed Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his Road Show.
Shah did the 1.3 km long road show in the Chutia locality of Ranchi riding on a chariot from Indira Gandhi Chowk to Shishu Mandir.
Ranchi Lok Sabha candidate and sitting MP Sanjay Seth, MLA CP Singh, Naveen Jaiswal, Samari Lal, former Deputy Mayor and Convenor Sanjeev Vijayvargiya along with others accompanied the Home Minister.
More than 500 women in traditional attire escorted the chariot to welcome Amit Shah, while 200 people performed dance and music forms. Extensive arrangements for his security were made by the district administration, while 200 party workers were engaged in his security at their own level.
During the 1.3 kilometer road show, a crowd of people gathered on both sides of the road. Everyone was eager to get a glimpse of Shah. With enthusiasm, people showered flowers on the Home Minister all the way. Shah also greeted the people by waving his hand and with flowers.
Thousands of people lined up on both sides of the 1.5-km stretch, with flags, lotus symbols and cut-outs, to greet Shah amid tight security arrangements.
Shah had earlier landed at the Birsa Munda Airport in a special helicopter from Odisha after holding a public rally there.
