Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized the unparalleled trust people have in the BJP during a public gathering in Roopwas, Bharatpur, on Sunday.
Encouraging party workers to ensure the populace reaps the benefits of various developmental initiatives, he underscored the significance of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP) for the region.
Sharma highlighted ERCP's potential to provide potable water to a vast expanse of the state and irrigate over 2,80,000 hectares of land. Additionally, he noted the positive impact on areas including Kumher, Deeg, Nadbai, Bayana, Rupwas, and Ghana sanctuaries.
While addressing the gathering, Sharma said, "No power in the world can impede a person driven by the desire to work." He reiterated the public's trust in the BJP and urged party members to uphold this faith by delivering the benefits of government schemes.
Sharma also criticized the previous Congress administration, alleging a staggering loss of Rs 90,000 crore in the state's electricity sector. He confidently asserted a future shift from electricity procurement to surplus generation within three years.
In addressing the paper leak scandal, Sharma assured accountability, affirming that those responsible for inflicting distress on the state's youth would face consequences.
