The Samajwadi Party (SP) unveiled its manifesto titled 'Hamara Adhikar' for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, outlining a comprehensive vision for governance and development.

At the party headquarters in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of SP, presented the 20-page document, emphasizing key commitments aimed at social justice and economic empowerment.

Central to the manifesto is the promise to conduct a caste census by 2025, with a pledge to ensure justice and inclusivity by 2029 based on the findings. Additionally, the SP vowed to fill all government vacancies for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes by 2025.

Yadav asserted the party's commitment to agricultural reform, advocating for the implementation of the Swaminathan formula to guarantee Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops, including milk.

Addressing concerns over unemployment and alleged paper leaks, Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of intentional sabotage.

The manifesto also outlined ambitious plans for agricultural support, including the waiver of all agricultural loans in 2024, free irrigation for farmers, and the establishment of markets every 10 kilometers in agricultural states. It proposes a pension of Rs 5,000 per month for small and marginal farmers, along with the establishment of markets every 10 kilometers in agricultural states.

Furthermore, the SP pledged a monthly pension of Rs 5,000 for small and marginal farmers, the establishment of a Farmers Commission to oversee agricultural loans, and timely payment guarantees for sugarcane farmers through a Rs 10,000 crore rolling fund.

In the realm of employment, Yadav also pledged to increase MNREGA wages to Rs 450 and extend working days to 150, while promising the implementation of the Urban Employment Guarantee Act in the first parliamentary session of 2024.

The SP also committed to promptly filling all government job vacancies and initiating a youth laptop distribution scheme.

With its manifesto, the Samajwadi Party aims to address various concerns and pave the way for a more inclusive and prosperous future for the country.
