A wedding invitation card seeks vote for PM Modi.

A father whose son is about to get hitched has made a very unconventional request in the wedding card. He has asked the attendees to support Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming general elections.

The wedding is slated to take place on April 4. The father feels that the guests will offer a meaningful gesture by participating in the electoral politics of India and supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As the Lok Sabha polls are round the corner, Nandikanti Narsimlu and his wife Nandikanti Nirmala have made a one-of-its-kind request to the guests.

As per the sources, Narsimlu who works as a wooden materials supplier from Arutla village, has two daughters and both of them are married. He said that the idea to include a line pertaining to the request was accepted by his family members.

He asserted that my family found the idea interesting and encouraged me to go ahead with it.

He and his entire family are Modi fans. After being smitten by Modi’s stardom, they decided to make this move.

The Lok Sabha elections in the state are scheduled to be held in a single phase on May 13.

This is not the first time that someone has made such a request in the wedding invitation card. In 2019, a similar gesture was shown by a man from Uttarakhand. However, that resulted in an action from the Election Commission.

He received a notice from the EC on the pretext of violating the Model Code of Conduct.
