Deadpool and Wolverine will make screen appearance on July 26 in India. While the movie is a buzz with all the guesswork around variants mutilation of Deadpool however, there is one conjecture that is keeping the fans on a string- Is Taylor Swift to cameo in Deadpool?
There has been a lot of speculation online on Taylor Swift making her debut as Lady Deadpool aka Wanda Wilson.
It all began when the first glimpse of the female eponymous character to the Deadpool made appearance in the official trailer of the movie in June 2024. At the end of the trailer, Ryan Reynolds is heard saying, “I am about to lose everything that I have ever cared about.”
The rumors became rife after the release of the final trailer on July 20, by the Marvel Enterprises where a Blonde lady adorning a red suit alike Deadpool, made her introduction.
At first people assumed it was the Gossip Girl fame, Blake Lively.
However, a fan theory stating that the pop star is the best fit for the role intensified the whole grapevine. Taylor’s conspicuous friendship with the Blake and Ryan further confirmed the opinions regarding her role in the movie.
Even a picture of Swift, wearing the Deadpool costume resurfaced on the web further cogitate the viewers into believing that the pop icon’s appearance into the movie is on horizon.
However, a statement from entertainment tonight, latching all the rumors, stated that she was too busy working on Eras Tour.
Director Levy, though, hurled the whole situation again after saying, “That’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
