Noor Malabika Das, a Bollywood actress who appeared in the 2023 web series 'The Trail', reportedly took her own life in her Oshiwara apartment, as per the police statement on Monday.
The 31-year-old actress's decomposed body was discovered on Friday evening following complaints from neighbours about an unpleasant odour coming from her residence, an official confirmed.
Das co-starred with Bollywood actress Kajol in the 2023 web series 'The Trial.' It has been determined that the actress ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her apartment on Tuesday evening. A neighbour alerted the police about the foul smell.
The police team broke down the door and discovered the body and found a table and rope at the scene, the official said.
Das mentioned that he was dealing with depression and taking medication.
According to the official, no suicide note was found at the location. The official stated that an accidental death report (ADR) has been filed.
