Taking forward India's determined diplomatic thrust, two all-party delegations have touched down in the United Kingdom and Spain to deliver a stark message to the world that, India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism is uncompromising, and that justice must be served in the wake of the brutal Pahalgam attack that left 28 innocents dead.
Led by BJP heavyweight and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, the UK delegation arrived in London on Saturday evening, signalling New Delhi’s urgent call for global solidarity. Simultaneously, the Spain-bound group, headed by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, landed in Madrid to press India’s resolute stand before Spanish authorities, civil society, and the influential Indian diaspora.
These delegations are far from symbolic gestures. They form part of a sweeping campaign — seven multi-party teams, 33 global capitals — aimed at isolating the perpetrators and spotlighting Pakistan’s alleged complicity in fomenting terror on Indian soil.
Prasad’s team, featuring MPs from across the political spectrum including Daggubati Purandeswari, Priyanka Chaturvedi, and former Union minister MJ Akbar, was greeted by India’s High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami.
“The All Party Delegation of MPs led by Ravi Shankar Prasad arrived in London (Saturday) evening and was received by High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami,” the Indian High Commission confirmed.

Over three intense days, the delegation will engage with key figures such as House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle and UK Foreign Office Minister for Indo-Pacific Catherine West, as well as parliamentarians, diaspora leaders and influential think tanks — all in a bid to galvanise a unified front against terror.
Having already toured France, Italy, and Denmark, where they secured a public condemnation of the Pahalgam massacre, the delegation leaves no stone unturned. “The delegation emphasised on India's zero-tolerance towards terrorism and stance that any act of violence would be responded to befittingly. India's appreciation of Denmark's public stance condemning the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the expression of solidarity with India was conveyed to the Danish side during the meetings,” the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) declared.
Meanwhile, Kanimozhi’s delegation arrived in Spain fresh from Latvia, poised to deliver India’s hardline message over the next two days. “Over the next two days, the delegation will meet with members of the Spanish government, the Indian diaspora and civil society representatives to present India’s stance of #ZeroToleranceForTerrorism,” the Indian Embassy in Madrid stated.
The mission emphasised that the delegation “reflects the strong national consensus and unity across political lines in India's fight against terrorism,” underscoring the political resolve underpinning India’s diplomatic drive.
From London, Prasad’s team will press on to the European Union and Germany, pursuing further high-stakes meetings aimed at rallying European allies.
This robust diplomatic campaign follows weeks of escalated hostilities between India and Pakistan, triggered by the Pahalgam terror attack. On 7 May, India executed precise strikes targeting terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan retaliated aggressively with multiple attempts to strike Indian military bases on 8, 9, and 10 May. Only after intense talks between the Directors General of Military Operations of both nations on 10 May did the hostilities abate, with an agreement to cease further military action.
