While the work has been started to vacate the first section of Baltimore's recently collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge which is lodged on the bow of the cargo ship, the hour of waiting is not yet over for the 22 crew members trapped aboard the vessel.

Of 22, a total of 20 crew members are Indian, and at least one is from Sri Lanka. The nationalities were confirmed by both the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and the U.S. Coast Guard on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the officials stated that the workers are concentrating on raising a segment of the bridge, with the damaged section left in place on the bow of the Dali, the container ship accountable for the bridge's collapse.

The crew members remain on board the Dali, which has been stationary in the Baltimore Harbor since the collision.

The U.S. Coast Guard informed that the crew members are looking after and maintaining the Dali’s engineering spaces and standing prepared to respond to any emergency if it arises.
