Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged as the most esteemed global leader, boasting an impressive 78 percent approval rating, surpassing renowned figures like US President Joe Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and UK's Rishi Sunak.
This revelation stems from a survey conducted by Morning Consult, a US-based global decision intelligence agency, based on data collected from January 30 to February 5.
The survey, reflecting a weekly moving average of views among adults in surveyed countries, places Modi at the pinnacle of global leadership. At 73, Modi seeks a remarkable third consecutive term as Prime Minister, a feat akin to India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who led the Congress to victory in 1952, 1957, and 1962 before his demise in 1964.
Modi's stellar approval rating, as per the Morning Consult Survey, far surpasses his counterparts. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador follows closely with a 65 percent approval rating, while Argentina's Javier Milei secures the third position with a 63 percent rating. This accolade marks a notable increase from December's survey, where Modi garnered a 76 percent approval rating.

Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Modi's political journey began with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1985.
Rising through party ranks, he assumed the position of BJP's general secretary in 2001 and later served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001. In 2013, Modi ascended to the role of BJP's campaign committee chief and eventually became the party's prime ministerial candidate.
Modi's political acumen culminated in a historic victory for the BJP in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, securing 282 seats, the first single-party majority since 1984. Five years later, in the 2019 elections, the BJP further solidified its position, clinching 303 seats.
These accomplishments underscore Modi's enduring popularity and political prowess on both national and global fronts.
