National Security Advisor Ajit Doval recently held a series of high-level meetings in France, aiming to strengthen the partnership between India and France and advance cooperation in various fields.
During his visit, Doval met with French President Emmanuel Macron, the Director General of the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA), Emmanuel Chiva, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
Doval's meeting with President Macron focused on reiterating the mutual commitment to the India-France Horizon 2047 roadmap, a strategic plan for enhancing ties between the two nations over the coming decades.
The Indian Embassy in France, in a post on X, shared that Doval conveyed greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to President Macron. In response, President Macron stressed the importance of continued India-France efforts to advance global peace and tackle pressing global challenges.
