What to eat after Karwa Chauth fast -
After a day-long Karwa Chauth fast, traditionally, women break their fast with a moment of gentle indulgence. The fast is usually opened with a sip of water, coconut water, or a few soaked almonds or dates, followed by fresh fruits like a banana, pomegranate, or apple.

After this, women can have a light and comforting meal such as khichdi, dal with roti, or a warm vegetable soup, while curd or buttermilk helps soothe the stomach. To add a festive touch, traditional sweets like kheer, phirni, or dry fruit ladoos are savoured in moderation, marking the end of a day of devotion and celebration. Heavy, oily, or spicy foods are best avoided immediately after the fast to ensure a smooth and joyous celebration.
