AAP confident of fourth term as Bhagwant Mann backs Kejriwal.

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has expressed confidence in his party’s victory in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

He claimed that people across the capital have made up their minds to bring Arvind Kejriwal back to power for the fourth time.

Mann, who has been actively campaigning in the city, shared his observations from various constituencies.

He stated that during his visits to Krishna Nagar, Rohtas Nagar, Tughlaqabad, Palam, Mehrauli, Burari, Bawana, Karol Bagh, Tilak Nagar and Hari Nagar, people were openly voicing their support for Kejriwal.

He took a swipe at the BJP, suggesting that while some politicians focus on conflict, AAP remains committed to education and development. He expressed faith in the voters, saying they were well aware of the choices before them.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress MP Shatrughan Sinha also joined AAP’s campaign. He was seen backing Atishi, the party’s candidate from Kalkaji, ahead of the Delhi elections.

Atishi, speaking at a campaign event, highlighted the improvements made by AAP in the last decade. She pointed out that Delhi now enjoys uninterrupted electricity and well-maintained government schools.

She warned that a BJP government would undo these achievements and return schools to their previous condition.

She also spoke about the city’s Mohalla clinics, which provide free medical treatment and medicines. She claimed that had the BJP been in power, these services would not have existed.

Addressing voters, she urged them to think carefully before casting their ballots. She cautioned that a wrong decision could not be reversed and accused the BJP of attempting to lure voters with money and alcohol.

She encouraged people to accept whatever BJP workers offered but to vote for AAP in the elections.

With polling day approaching, the contest between AAP, BJP and Congress has become more intense. Each party is trading allegations, making development and governance key points of debate.

The elections will take place in a single phase on 5 February, with the results set to be announced on 8 February.

The Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years, has struggled in recent elections, failing to win a single seat. In contrast, AAP swept the 2020 elections, winning 62 of the 70 seats, while the BJP managed only eight.
