BJP's support for Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Questioned by Prashant Kishor.

Prashant Kishor, the leader of Jan Suraj, recently voiced strong criticism against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing him of failing to advocate for industrial development in the state.

Kishor expressed disappointment over Kumar's lack of effort to secure industries and factories for districts such as Motihari, Chapra, and Gopalganj, despite his close ties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During a public address in Patna, Kishor highlighted Bihar's significance in national politics, emphasising that no government in Delhi can form without support from the state. He argued that Kumar has not utilised this political leverage to promote industrialization.

According to Kishor, the Chief Minister appears more focused on maintaining his position of power rather than addressing the pressing issue of industrial growth in Bihar.

Kishor questioned whether there had ever been any significant push from Kumar for factories in each district. He accused the Chief Minister of neglecting the state's development needs, especially while sitting alongside the country's top leaders. Kishor further critiqued the BJP, asserting that the party feels compelled to support Kumar in Bihar to ensure its own governance at the national level.

He conveyed that the citizens of Bihar are increasingly dissatisfied with Kumar's administration, a sentiment he believes will be reflected in the upcoming elections. Kishor stated that Kumar's focus seems to be on maintaining political alliances rather than taking concrete steps to foster the state's development.

As he continued to articulate his concerns, Kishor remarked that while Kumar is unwilling to relinquish power, the BJP is also hesitant to remove him due to its political interests. This situation has left the people of Bihar frustrated and ready to express their discontent at the polls.

Kishor predicted a significant backlash against Kumar in the forthcoming elections, suggesting that voters would deliver a decisive verdict that could hinder Kumar's return to power.

Kishor's statements suggest that he believes the political dynamics in Bihar are changing. He is confident that public dissatisfaction with the lack of development initiatives under Kumar's leadership is reaching a tipping point.

This discontent, according to Kishor, could signal the end of Kumar's political tenure as the citizens seek a leadership that prioritises the state's growth and development.
