Dattatreya Hosabale has been re-elected as the General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the organization announced Sunday.
Hosabale, who has held the position since 2021, will continue in his role until 2027, according to a statement released by the RSS.
The decision was made during the annual three-day 'Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha' of the RSS, which commenced on Friday at the Smriti Bhavan complex in Reshimbagh, Nagpur.
The meeting, held in Nagpur, the RSS's headquarters, is the first of its kind in six years and has attracted over 1,500 representatives from various RSS-affiliated organizations.
Dattatreya Hosabale is a senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist organization in India. He has served in various roles within the RSS, including as the Sah Sarkaryavah (Joint General Secretary) before being appointed as the Sarkaryavah (General Secretary) in 2021. Hosabale is known for his organizational skills and ideological commitment to the RSS's principles.
