A team of the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) immediately reached the spot. Police, bomb disposal squad, dog squad, along with DFS personnel checked and searched the entire premises of the school, the officer said.
No suspicious object was found and the threat was declared a hoax, the officer added.
Police have launched an investigation into the matter, he said.
On Thursday, an explosion had rocked Prashant Vihar in which the driver of a three-wheeler parked nearby had sustained minor injuries.
In a statement, the police said the PCR unit received a call informing about a bomb like explosion in Prashant Vihar area. A bomb detection team, dog squad, local police force, along with the Delhi Fire Services were rushed to the spot.
