A boy from Haryana faced backlash online after a video of him sitting on the roof of a moving car went viral on social media. In the video, the boy claims his policeman father would "protect him."
The video, shared by vlogger Rakshit Beniwal, shows him sitting on the roof of a Mahindra Thar while his father, dressed in a police uniform, sits inside the vehicle. The video includes the caption: “Tu maar mai dekh lunga, ye kehne vaale papa hai mere” (You hit, I’ll handle, I have a father who says this).
Rakshit's video, posted on Instagram a week ago, has been viewed over three million times. His Instagram profile features similar content, including a video from a month ago that has gained more than 35 million views.
Since going viral, the video has spread to other social media platforms, with Pune-based entrepreneur Chirag Barjatya also sharing it on X.
The video has sparked concerns and criticism from social media users. Many expressed worry about the danger of the stunt. One user commented, "This is so dangerous," while another said, "There is no end to this, arrogance is real."
As the video continues to circulate, it has sparked a debate about privilege and accountability.
