Sheldon Aranjo slammed the organisers after he was forced to urinate in his pants during a Bryan Adams concert in Mumbai, following limited toilet facilities. Aranjo, a media and entertainment professional, shared his experience on LinkedIn, posting a picture of his soiled pants as evidence.
Writing in his post, Aranjo made an appeal to the Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and EVA Global Events, as a "cry for help" rather than a complaint.
The concert, held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, saw more than 1,000 attendees but only had three toilets available for all the visitors.
Being diabetic, Aranjo has a frequent need to use the toilet, explained that he had queued for a long time, but the line seemed endless. After being advised by the staff to try a different washroom located at the other end of the venue, Aranjo rushed to it, only to be denied entry. The staff then stated that he could not use the washroom since he did not belong to the 'other category' of ticket holders.
With no other options available, Aranjo had to relieve himself near a tree, managing to bypass security checks despite the distressing situation. Despite the ordeal, he expressed his gratitude towards Bryan Adams for salvaging what would have been an otherwise unforgettable evening.
"This is NOT a rant. It’s a CRY for help," he wrote.
