New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon is set to arrive in the national capital today for an official visit, during which he will serve as the chief guest at the inaugural session of the Raisina Dialogue.
Luxon will deliver the keynote address at the event, which is India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics.
His visit to India is expected to strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate discussions on key international issues.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that a high-level delegation will accompany Luxon, comprising Ministers, senior officials, business leaders, media representatives, and members of the Indian diaspora from New Zealand.
In a post on social media platform X, the MEA spokesperson stated, "PM @chrisluxonmp will be arriving shortly on an Official Visit to India. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Ministers, senior officials, businesses, media, and members of the Indian diaspora community in New Zealand."
Later today, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is expected to meet Luxon. On Monday, the New Zealand premier will lay a wreath at Raj Ghat in homage to Mahatma Gandhi.

He will then meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, where both leaders will oversee the exchange of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) before Luxon proceeds to meet President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Further engagements include a meeting with Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Luxon will travel to Mumbai, where he is scheduled to meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan.
He is expected to depart from India on 20 March.
The 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue, set to be held from 17-19 March, will bring together representatives from approximately 125 nations. The theme of this year’s conference is “Kalachakra – People, Peace and Planet.”
The event will feature participation from Ministers, former Heads of State and Government, military commanders, business leaders, technology experts, academics, journalists, and scholars.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Dialogue on 17 March.
