Former Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras may soon decide whether to remain with the NDA. Meanwhile, Jamui MP Arun Bharti, who is also the brother-in-law of Chirag Paswan, made a significant revelation about Pashupati Kumar Paras.
On Friday, he shared his account of past events on social media platform X.
MP Arun Bharti said, "Let me share a real story that hasn't been told before. In 2014, Indian politics saw major shifts. A critical decision needed to be made within the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) regarding joining the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA)."
He continued, "This decision was politically significant but also caused controversy within the family. Chirag Paswan, a young and visionary leader, firmly supported the alliance. He believed joining the NDA would benefit both the LJP and the politics of Bihar and the nation. However, it wasn't an easy path. The late Ram Vilas Paswan, who had decades of political experience, was initially hesitant. He was aware that the alliance could have political and social consequences."
'Pashupati Kumar Paras strongly opposed the decision'
In his post, Arun Bharti highlighted the role of Pashupati Kumar Paras, Chirag Paswan’s uncle.
"The strongest opposition came from Pashupati Paras, who was a senior party leader. He was firmly against joining the alliance and voiced his concerns clearly. Despite the resistance, Chirag Paswan remained determined. Through his arguments and strategic thinking, he not only convinced his father, Ram Vilas Paswan, but also won the support of other party leaders. His leadership brought a new direction to the LJP," said Arun Bharti.

Arun Bharti added, "In the end, Chirag Paswan's persistence paid off, and the LJP joined the NDA. This decision marked a historic turning point for the Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas, giving it a fresh identity and opening new opportunities in Bihar and national politics. This untold story highlights how leadership, vision, and determination can overcome any obstacle."
This incident has become a key moment in the history of Bihar politics and remains a point of discussion in the current landscape of Bihar News in Hindi and Bihar Politics.
