A cross-border arms smuggling module has been busted with the arrest of two men in Malout and Ferozepur and the seizure of two 9 mm pistols and live cartridges from them.

In a post on X, DGP Gaurav Yadav said Ravi Singh from Malout and his associate from Ferozepur had links with smugglers in Pakistan, including a key handler involved in the trafficking of weapons and narcotics. Yadav said the operation had exposed a wider arms smuggling network.
