Khadse, who was on a visit to flood-hit areas of Patiala district, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had instructed Union ministers to personally visit flood-affected areas, meet affected families and understand their difficulties. She was accompanied by former Patiala Lok Sabha MP and BJP leader Preneet Kaur.
Khadse met affected families in Jand Mangoli, Untsar, Kami Khurd and Chamaru villages under the Ghanaur assembly segment. Taking note of the damage caused by the swollen Ghaggar in Ghanaur, she instructed the SDM to conduct a comprehensive survey so that the compensation can directly reach all victims.
