The electoral process for the Haryana assembly polls has officially commenced today as the Election Commission of India issued a notification that marks the start of nomination filing.

According to the notification released, September 12th is the deadline for submitting nominations.

Other notable candidates on the BJP list include Anil Vij from Ambala Cantt, Sunita Duggal from Rati, Gian Chand Gupta from Panchkula, Kanwar Pal Gurjar from Jagadhri, Bhavya Bishnoi from Adampur, and Tejpal Tanwar from Sohna.

The election for the Haryana assembly is scheduled on October 5th and the vote counting will take place on October 8th.

Other major parties like the Janayaka Janta Party (JJP) have also announced their list of 19 candidates. JJP has formed an alliance with Chandrashekhar Azad’s  Azad Samaj Party (ASP) for the upcoming elections.
