Deepender Singh Hooda addresses the rally ahead of his campaign, Haryana Maange Hisab.

Long pending issues like record unemployment, contentious Agneepath scheme, and lack of infrastructure in Haryana still in resonation with the people of the state and that is why, the Haryana Maange Hisaab campaign will continue even during the Parliament session said, Deepender Hooda on Sunday.

Questioning the transparency in BJP he said, “If there is no discrepancy in the accounts, then why is the BJP government afraid of giving the account.”

Rejoicing the public response to the campaign, Hooda carried out a padayatra in the Bawal assembly constituency, starting from the Charan Singh Agricultural University covering Rewari Mod Mohalla Jatwada, New Sabzi Mandi Gate, Shaheed Bhagat Ram Chowk, Sir Chhotu Ram Chowk, and Ambedkar Park.

The entire Padyatra garnered massive crowds from all communities including,  Kumhar Samaj, Jangid Samaj, Valmiki Samaj, Jat Samaj, Saini Samaj, and Punjabi Samaj which welcomed the Yatra by showering flowers.

Deepender garlanded the statues of Shaheed Bhagatram, Chotu Ram, and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on the Yatra route and paid his respects to them.

Hooda while launching a direct attack against the BJP government on the Agneepath scheme, asked who suggested the fatal Agneepath Yojana, and why the government implemented it.

“Youth who used to protect the country's borders by joining the Army are today forced to cross the borders of other countries illegally through Dunki,” said Hooda.

He added, “ I vow to fight strongly against the Agneepath Yojana in the Parliament and I will not rest until it is abolished.”

He further highlighted the plight of Bawal town, potholes-ridden roads, supply of contaminated drinking water, and the worst condition of drainage.

“The Congress government built IMT in Bawal and the BJP should tell if any new industry has come here in 10 years,” he said.

“The condition of construction at AIIMS is in front of everyone. The BJP government could not even get the building of the Manethi sub-tehsil repaired.

This government does work worth 25 paise and announces 10 rupees. The Congress government connected four cities of Haryana with the metro, why could the BJP government not build even a single pillar of the metro in 10 years,” he questioned.

He pointed out that the initiation of the Haryana Maange Hisaab campaign has invited a parallel campaign by ED, and CBI against Congress leaders at the behest of the BJP government.

“The BJP government should not be under the misconception that the Congress will stop asking questions,” he stated.

“There is a wave in favor of the Congress in the state, that is why Congress and its leaders are on everyone's target. The BJP government brings non-essential issues to divert people's attention from important issues,” he said.

He further questioned the economic conditions of the state saying why Haryana became the capital of temporary jobs without reservation, without pension, and merit.

“The BJP government abolished 2 lakh government posts in the state and 30 lakh government posts are lying vacant in the central government,” he said.

“The posts that remained in Haryana were converted into temporary jobs without reservation, without pension, without merit through Agneepath Yojana and Kaushal Nigam.

By doing this, the BJP government has snatched the rights of SC and backward castes through the back door. In the last 5 years, only 10,000 jobs have been created in Haryana, most of which were given to people from other states,” he added.

He further highlighted, “Permanent recruitment in the army has been abolished. The dreams of the youth of Haryana to serve the country by joining the army have been shattered by the introduction of the Agneepath scheme.

The youth of Haryana have been entangled in recruitment scams, paper leaks, and CET. The youth frustrated by unemployment are getting trapped in the quagmire of drugs and crime due to drugs,” he said.

He pointed out that instead of providing facilities to the people, the BJP has made them stand in lines by entangling them in portals and IDs.

“When the Congress government comes to power, providing good employment opportunities to the youth of the state will be a priority,” he added.

Former MP Raj Babbar, MLA Chiranjeev Rao, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly MLA Lalit Yadav, former minister Jagdish Yadav, former MLA Jaswant Bawal, former CPS Anita Yadav, office bearers of Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, Seva Dal, NSUI, Congress frontal organizations, cells, local senior party leaders, a large number of local people and workers were present in the padyatra.
