Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused the JMM-Congress government in Jharkhand of patronising the paper leak racketeers and said that the ruling coalition will never do good for the youth of the State.
Addressing the concluding ceremony of BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in Hazaribag on Wednesday the PM said that under the protection of the state government, paper leak gangs are operating here. “The rights of the youth are being violated by selling each paper for lakhs of rupees. Crores of rupees are being earned. The entire government is immersed in corruption,” he said.
Modi said that the lives of our young friends have been ruined by paper leaks. The government that is running in Jharkhand today cannot do any good to my young brothers and sisters, he said.
Modi said that Atal ji created Jharkhand with peace and consent. “We wanted the development of Jharkhand, we wanted to fulfill the dreams of the tribal society, but in fulfilling these dreams, who did we fight with? A party like RJD. The people of RJD made Jharkhand their place of loot. Water, forest and land were openly looted. They had made this area a safe house for criminals and mafias.”
“Congress people were supporting RJD from Delhi. Congress was an equal partner in this sin…Today I regret that JMM has also been painted in the colour of Congress and RJD. This is not the old JMM. Today JMM is haunted by Congress,” he said.
The PM said that JMM government has become an obstacle in the development of Jharkhand. “Can anyone imagine that those who took votes in the name of water-forest-land would do such open loot. Today land brokers are ruling the state government. You see their courage, they looted the land of poor tribals, did not even spare the land of the army.”
“These people launch schemes in the name of the poor, in the name of the tribals but eat up the money. Abua Awas Yojana, Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana, all these have become a den of corruption. The state government is not shying away from corruption even in the schemes of the central government. They are embezzling the ration money of the poor,” said Modi.
“There is such an open game of corruption, distribution of money, hundreds of crores are recovered from the hideouts of Congress leaders here. Crores of rupees are seized from the houses of the servants of the leaders. I have been the Chief Minister for so many years, the Prime Minister, but I have been in public life for so many years but have not seen such piles of notes,” said the PM.
“I have come to know that thousands of transfers have taken place in the last two weeks. People are telling that this transfer posting is a very big industry of theirs. JMM has played a game of crores of rupees in the name of transfer posting. But, let me tell you that this game is not going to last long. Soon the government will change in Jharkhand and this loot will be accounted for,” he said.
