Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma today said that after 2014, a sea change has been witnessed in the country. Before 2014, there was corruption in the country to such an extent that it could not be counted. Before 2014, terrorists used to explode bombs in crowded areas of the country. They used to behead soldiers from the border and take them away. After 2014, the situation has completely changed, he said.
Sharma was in coal city Dhanbad of Jharkhand on Tuesday to attend the nomination of the NDA candidate of BJP, Dhullu Mahato.
Addressing a huge public meeting organized in Dhanbad, along with former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, he said that earlier the poor did not have any bank account. The poor could not even set foot on the doorstep of a bank. Prime Minister Narendra Modi curbed cut money by opening everyone's account in the bank.
He said that 'cut money' was more prevalent in Jharkhand. The former Prime Minister of Congress used to say that we send Re 1, and by the time it reaches the village, only 15 paise would reach. Today, if the Prime Minister deposits Rs 100, the entire amount is credited to the account. There is no cut money anywhere. This is the change after 2014.
He said that earlier mothers and sisters used to be troubled. They used to wait till night to defecate. They used to go before dawn.PM Modi gave respect to mothers and sisters by giving them toilets.
The Rajasthan CM said that after 2014, the pace of development increased. Six-lane roads are being built. There has been historic development in railways as well. There has been development in every field. The number of hospitals has increased five times.
Sharma said India's respect has increased in the world. Earlier, the face of backward, poor India was seen in the world. Today the whole world looks at India with yearning eyes. Prime Minister Modi did the work of evacuating the youth of India trapped amid the war between Russia and Ukraine. He said that this time 25 out of 25 seats in Rajasthan are coming in the Lok Sabha. This time in Jharkhand also 14 out of 14 seats are going to be of BJP and NDA.
