The Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday ensured that the state government is dealing with the shortage of teachers at the schools.
"A comprehensive action plan is being developed to address the school-teacher shortage. As a result, from the upcoming academic session, no school in the state will face a teacher shortage", said the CM.
Comprehensive plan to deal shortage of teachers:
The Chief Minister emphasised that a comprehensive plan should be developed to address any teacher shortages in schools. He also urged that all necessary arrangements be made before the start of the new academic session, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing quality education to every child in the state.
Saini then said that in line with the NEP (National Education Policy), the Bhagavad Gita should be included in the curriculum up to Class 8, as part of efforts to instill moral values in the students.
"The non-stop government of the state has set a target to implement the new education policy this year. Every student is connected with digital technology, hence a portal has also been created for online suggestions. Students can also give suggestions on this portal. This policy will prove to be extremely useful for the creation of a self-reliant India-self-reliant Haryana and an inclusive education system under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi", wrote the CM in a post on X.
The CM further informed that the Haryana government has established Model Sanskriti Schools at the block level.
In a bid to provide quality material to read, the Haryana government will also be setting up reading rooms in cities.
CM Saini, late Friday, convened a meeting with the officers of the Elementary Education, School Education and Higher Education Departments, which was also attended by the Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda.
