Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Saturday said the government's 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' programme was getting positive response across the state.
Talking to media persons here, the Chief Minister said through this programme, the state government was disseminating information about its programmes, policies and other decisions.
"We are also making people aware of the welfare schemes and the decisions that have transformed the lives of the people availing benefits of such schemes.
"As of now, the people are becoming aware that the BJP has never taken such decisions for their welfare in the past at the grassroots level', he said.
On the issue of delay in Junior Office Assistant ( IT) results, the Chief Minister said that the government was thoroughly reviewing legal aspects of recruitment and would release the results of JOA-IT soon." We are committed to soon declaring the results of JOA (IT) posts'', he said.
On a query about keeping guest faculty in schools, the Chief Minister stated that Guest Teachers would be a stop-gap arrangement so that the studies of the students may not suffer.
He said the Guest Teachers would be hired purely on a merit basis and their services would be availed only in case a post remains vacant for a long time due to a transfer or if a regular teacher was on a long leave or so.
Sukhu regretted that the opposition was misleading the youth about this decision and was criticising the decision just for the sake of criticism and media attention.
