Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) Mansa city president Chandan Jindal was attacked with swords by a group of armed men at his home late on Tuesday night. He has been referred to Rajindra Hospital, Patiala in a critical condition.

 

Ankush Jindal, president of the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) Malwa Zone, said the attack appeared to be linked to an old enmity with a neighbour. The dispute started after the neighbour installed a CCTV camera facing Chandan’s house.

 

The police, who reached the spot soon after the incident, are investigating the matter. They said efforts are on to identify and arrest the assailants at the earliest.
