Tripura's Chief Minister, Prof Dr Manik Saha, is set to roll out more than 10,000 job opportunities following the upcoming Panchayat elections, aiming to boost employment prospects across the state.
A senior official from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) highlighted the government's commitment to youth welfare, stating, "Chief Minister Saha has actively pursued initiatives to enhance job availability since assuming office."
From 2018 to 2024, the state has issued a total of 13,661 job offers across different categories.
These include Group A, with 99 offers in 2018-19 FY, rising to 223 in 2021-22 FY, and Group B, which saw 1 offer in 2018-19 FY and increased to 77 in 2022-23 FY. Group C experienced substantial recruitment, with 986 offers in 2018-19 FY peaking at 5044 in 2022-23 FY, while Group D ranged from 100 offers in 2018-19 FY to 78 in 2023-24 FY.
Ahead of the Panchayat elections, Chief Minister Saha has directed officials to expedite the release of pending job offers.
An official affirmed, "Pending offers, including positions in Tripura Police and Group D roles under the Joint Recruitment Board Tripura, will be swiftly released in accordance with Chief Minister Saha's directives."
The forthcoming release of over 10,000 job offers is poised to meet the state's employment demands and provide significant support to Tripura's young workforce.
