Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday launched the "Mukhya Sevak Samvad" initiative aimed at fostering direct communication with beneficiaries of government schemes to evaluate their on-ground implementation.

The scheme also aims at gathering first-hand feedback from beneficiaries regarding their experiences, helping the government to access the actual status of the ground-level implementation of these schemes.

The state government also organised the "Gaon Se Global Tak: Home Stay Samvad" programme, where home stay operators from remote villages interacted directly with the Chief Minister. Participants shared their insights, challenges, and suggestions related to the home stay scheme.

CM Dhami assured the operators that their inputs would be taken into account while framing future policies. The home stay operators said the scheme has emerged as a key driver of employment and socio-economic change in the hill and border regions of the state.

Operators credited the initiative’s success to the Chief Minister’s proactive leadership and focus on rural development, highlighting how the scheme has enabled dignified livelihoods for local communities.

Earlier in the day, CM Dhami also extended his greetings to civil service officers on the occasion of Civil Services Day, applauding their contribution toward building a developed Uttarakhand and India.

Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department has signed a direct procurement agreement with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), benefitting local livestock farmers. In the first five months of the arrangement, 253 farmers from four border districts have generated a business of ₹2.6 crore through ITBP contracts.
