The BJP state general secretary in Uttar Pradesh, Dharampal Singh, has announced plans for booth cadres to share home-cooked meals during lunch as a means to enhance camaraderie among them.
Singh stated on Sunday, "From sharing meals to engaging with voters in each booth, connecting with beneficiaries listed in each booth will be part of our routine activities."
He has instructed booth heads to surpass the vote count from the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, emphasizing the party's focus on booth-centric strategies for electoral success.
Furthermore, the BJP has introduced a seating plan for all booth-level cadres. This plan, initiated by Singh, aims to provide designated seating for booth chiefs during party meetings, a first for the party. Party leaders anticipate similar arrangements to be implemented at upcoming booth-level gatherings across all Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.
Explaining the significance of the seating plan, a BJP leader noted, "Our emphasis is on booth-level activities, and this seating arrangement reinforces our commitment to booth-level focus, helping cadres understand the importance of each booth."
Singh expressed confidence in achieving the party's goal of winning all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, thereby contributing to the BJP's broader objective of securing 370 seats independently and over 400 seats with NDA support.
