Yogi Summons Ministers Amid BJP's Lok Sabha Election Woes.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called for a crucial meeting of all ministers in the wake of the BJP's recent setback in the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Lucknow on Saturday, with instructions for all ministers to be present at 11 AM in the Lok Bhavan.

The BJP's performance in the recent elections has raised concerns, especially considering the impressive showing by the INDIA bloc, led by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

While the BJP secured 62 and 71 seats in the 2014 and 2019 general elections respectively, this time it is leading in 33 seats, compared to SP's 37 seats and Congress's six.

The meeting aims to delve into the reasons behind the BJP's underwhelming performance in Uttar Pradesh, despite its previous successes in both Lok Sabha and assembly polls. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeks to analyse the situation and strategize for the future.

In addition to the meeting, Yogi Adityanath has also announced the resumption of 'Janta Darshan', an initiative aimed at addressing public grievances. This initiative, which was halted for the last two months due to the election model code of conduct, will resume from Thursday onwards.

During 'Janta Darshan', CM Yogi Adityanath will personally interact with the public daily from 9 AM to 2 PM, listening to their concerns and directing officials for immediate redressal. This move is expected to provide a platform for citizens to voice their issues directly to the Chief Minister, facilitating prompt solutions.
