The delegation, led by Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu, has arrived in Gujarat, held discussions with key officials, including Secretary to the Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli, and will continue their study for the next three to four days. 


Officials from Uttarakhand's Chief Minister's Office have embarked on a mission to study the governance practices of Gujarat, aiming to adopt the state's acclaimed model for development in Uttarakhand.

 

Led by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu, the delegation will spend the next 3 to 4 days scrutinising the operational mechanisms and strategies implemented within the Chief Minister's Secretariat in Gujarat.

 

Gujarat has garnered national attention for its exemplary developmental initiatives, attracting investors and admiration for its efficient administration. The state's streamlined processes, from facilitating services to ensuring timely approvals, have been widely lauded. Now, Uttarakhand seeks to emulate these successes by adopting elements of the Gujarat model.

 

According to exclusive information reported by ETV Bharat, the Uttarakhand team, which includes senior officials such as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister RK Sudhanshu and Secretary to Chief Minister Shailesh Bagauli, has engaged in discussions with key figures in the Gujarat government to gain insights into various sectors.

 

In addition to studying governmental procedures, the delegation will focus on understanding collaborative ventures between the public and private sectors, particularly projects tailored to Uttarakhand's unique geographical challenges.

 

Of particular interest is the functioning of Gujarat's Chief Minister's Secretariat, where the team will focus on identifying transferable best practices. Their findings will be compiled into a comprehensive report to be presented to the Uttarakhand government for consideration.
