Haryana minister Anil Vij held his weekly Janta Darbar where he pulled the officials of various departments and directed them to resolve the pending complaints on priority.

The minister heard the grievances of residents of the Ambala Cantonment constituency at the PWD resthouse.

He directed the officials of police, power, and social welfare departments for unresolved issues and warned them of action if the grievances were not resolved soon.

Annoyed by an ample number of complaints, he ordered to change of the in-charge officer of the Housing Board Police Post after a complainant raised the matter of increasing theft cases in the area and the cases lying untraced.

Vij also asked SHO Ambala Cantonment to investigate the cases, thoroughly.

Other orders directions include SDM Ambala Cantonment Satinder Siwach, to investigate a matter related to the registration of a plot.

He also directed GM Roadways Ashwani Dogra, Ambala to start a special pink bus for the female students and women travelling toward Mullana from Ambala Cantonment to reduce the inconvenience being faced by the female students.

Vij addressed complaints related to encroachment, loose power cables, sanitation, land grabbing, property dispute, poor condition of public toilets, tour-travel package fraud, wrongly installed power poles, power meters, roads, teachers’ strength in government schools, water leakage, and immigration fraud.

Addressing the media, he said, “Complaints related to various departments have been received from the people and directions have been issued to the officials to resolve the grievances on priority. They have been told that no complainant should come back to Janta Darbar with some complaint else action will be initiated against the official.”

DSP Rajat Gulia and several BJP leaders were present on this occasion.
