Police battalion move to evicted land in Assam to begin soon

Assam plans to shift its 10th Police Battalion to land cleared during a recent eviction drive in Sonapur to prevent encroachment. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasised strict action against land brokers and outlined plans to utilise the remaining land for public benefit.
