Job trainee policy sparks insecurity among unemployed youth in HP

The state government decided to end contractual appointments in Himachal Pradesh due to the ongoing financial crisis. As a result, it introduced a Bill to bar all government appointees—retrospectively from 2003—from claiming benefits for their contract period.
