Ten exit polls indicate that the BJP-led NDA is poised to retain power in Bihar, with most projecting a stronger mandate than its 2020 tally of 125 seats. The poll of polls estimates the NDA could secure over 147 seats, easily surpassing the majority threshold of 122 in the 243-member Assembly.
Projections show the Mahagathbandhan falling short of 100 seats, likely ending with around 90 and finishing a distant second. Pollsters also suggest Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj will have negligible impact, failing to gain traction.
While most pollsters forecast a comfortable NDA victory, Axis My India predicts a closer contest, with 121–141 seats for the NDA and 98–118 for the Mahagathbandhan, giving the ruling alliance a slim advantage.

BJP state executive committee member Krishna Singh Kallu has placed an order for 500 kilograms of laddus, which are being prepared with pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar placed in front of the large cooking pan.
