In his typical witty quip, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav compared the current NDA government in Bihar with a ‘roti’ (flatbread) that needs to be flipped on the ‘tawa’ so that it doesn’t burn.
Calling for a change of government in the state, Yadav, who cast his vote on Thursday along with wife Rabri Devi, and son and INDIA bloc CM candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, said “a Tejashwi government is necessary for making a new Bihar”.
“Roti should be flipped on the ‘tawa’ otherwise it would burn. 20 years is too long! Now, a Tejashwi government is necessary for making a new Bihar,” he said.
The veteran leader also posted a photograph on X with a message calling for change in government in the eastern state.
